Captain Daz Wright was the most popular man in Calvo as he won the toss on a glorious sunny day.
Flea & Will Peat opened up and were still at the crease 216 runs later!
The historians and statisticians amongst the gallery were trying hard to remember the last 200 run partnership at GLA, or indeed anywhere for that matter for Calvo (answers on a postcard).
Will was eventually out for a superb 118 and Flea fell 4 short of a what would have been a well deserved Century.
Billy Bennett clobbered a quick fire 20 odd at the end of the innings as 271-2 from 40 overs were posted - a fine effort.
When visitors Clumber Park slumped to 125-5, it appeared as though the contest was over.
Kyle Welch removed the first 3 batsman very cheaply until Andy Appleton smashed 93 off just 68 balls to give Clumber hope. But Billy Bennett returned to the attack and ended Appleton's onslaught and when the overs ran out Clumber were 33 runs short.

4 more points for the undefeated Sunday XI, who sit second in the league table.
MOM: Flea & Will, great partnership.
