Over 70 children were present at last Friday's Club Night and they were all delighted with the new supply of kwik cricket and bowling machine balls. The purchase of these items were made possible by a grant from Calverton Parish Council, and Chairman, John Bailey, was our guest for the evening. Lowdham's ground is described as 'boggy' and this afternoons game has been cancelled.
No such problems though at GLA due yesterdays herculean efforts by the groundstaff the game against Plumtree is definitely on! The 2nd XI game this afternoon at home against Beeston & Toton Sycamore has been called off due to yesterdays heavy rains and the further rain this morning.
