With skipper Wag called up to the depleted 1st XI, it was left with Jarrod Bell to lead the troops. The day started badly as Jarrod proved he's not as good a tosser as Wag, losing the toss and having to field first. The Calvo bowling left a lot to be desired with Keith Harrison being the pick of the bowlers by far. The only real positive to take from a woeful display in the field was that Attenborough's total of 253-7 was fifty+ less than it looked like being!
The batting mirrored the bowling & fielding performance with only one batsman getting into double figures! A sorry tale as a total (sic) of 54 all out was posted, the innings ending before the 20th over had been completed.......chastening!
